Update: Ben Ratliff, whose book Coltrane: The Story of a Sound was one of my favorites of the year, reviews the reunion show in the New York Times. Sasha will presumably weigh in at a later date. Maybe it's not too late for we youngsters to get a real taste of Led Zep's raucous majesty. There is a classical connection: John Paul Jones, the band's genius bass player, was an organist and choirmaster when he was still in his teens.
