This MIT project converts ambient city noise into ambient music via a vocoder.... In conjunction with a recent realization of Meyerhold's aborted production of Pushkin's Boris Godunov, with incidental music by Prokofiev, Princeton has collected some rare and rather amazing pictures of Prokofiev and Meyerhold. This one shows Meyerhold speaking on June 15, 1939, his last public appearance before his arrest.... Fight in Symphony Hall — and it didn't involve a Charles Wuorinen premiere.
