Amazing to report, the legendary Czech rock band, harbingers of Vaclav Havel's Velvet Revolution, will be performing on Saturday night at the Cutting Room on West 24th Street in Manhattan. I doubt that tickets are still available, if they ever were, but it's worth a try. The band is in town because Havel is in residence at Columbia. Read their astonishing story here.
