For reasons I don't understand, it's very difficult to find this blog on Google using "Alex Ross" or some variant thereof. The first thing you see, after the shrines devoted to the famed DC Comics illustrator, is a terrible piece I wrote in 1998 for Slate. Of course, if you're searching for "pusillanimous pussyfooters," "rockism," or "he wrote," this site pops up right away.
